IOPO Professional Membership: Terms & Conditions

Professional Membership Pricing (Scaled Annual Term)
Professional Membership is for individuals working in the professional organising industry. This membership is ideal for sole traders, business owners, or practitioners who wish to access the full suite of IOPO benefits.
All Professional Memberships run from 1 July to 30 June each year. The standard price is $540 annually. You may choose to pay by instalments if joining from 21 June to 20 December; however, you must opt in to automatic payments to access this option.
Pricing is scaled depending on the month you join. You may join at any time, and for pricing purposes, your membership month is determined as follows:
- Join on or before the 20th of the month = your join month
- Join on or after the 21st of the month = following month is your join month

*Note: These memberships run longer (14 or 13 months respectively) and provide immediate access to benefits ahead of the standard term starting 1 July.
Professional Membership Access and Benefits
1. Your Member Profile
- Name, contact details, business name, and service area(s)
- Ability to update your own information (within permitted fields)
Purpose: To ensure accurate representation on the public directory and for IOPO communication.
2. Professional Development and Event Records
- Access to all Connection Events and Connection Room sessions
- Registration records for seminars and workshops
- Progress in IOPO training modules or CPD activities
- Access to certificates or completion records for PD, where available
Purpose: To track professional growth and participation in IOPO offerings.
3. Member Resources and Benefits
- Access to IOPO’s member-only resources, tools, and materials
- Eligibility for member-exclusive discounts, including:
- PO Specific Insurance
- IOPO Conference registration
- IOPO Training Courses
- Complimentary attendance to Connection Rooms and Connection Events
- Access to the IOPO Members' Lounge (private Facebook group)
- Email-based membership support
Purpose: To provide comprehensive support for your practice and professional growth.
Professional Members do not have access to:
- Private data of other members (including directory performance or feedback)
- Professional-only features (e.g. employee management tools or team progress tracking)
- Internal IOPO communications, staff notes, or confidential project documents
- Custom reports or analytics beyond their own membership and activity
Payment Compliance and Failed Instalments

Members selecting the instalment payment option must opt into automatic payments at the time of joining or renewal. If an instalment payment fails, IOPO will contact you to update your payment method.
- If two (2) or more instalment payments fail within a single membership term, IOPO reserves the right to cancel the instalment plan and require the remaining balance for the full annual membership term to be paid in full.
- If an instalment payment is not successfully resolved within fourteen (14) days of notification, IOPO may cancel the instalment arrangement and require the remaining balance of the membership term to be paid in full.
- Membership is an annual commitment and is not renewed on a monthly basis; instalment payments are simply a payment method.
- All membership fees are non-refundable once committed for the term, regardless of payment frequency or membership status.
- Members with repeated failed payments may also be required to pay in full for future membership terms. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure a valid payment method and sufficient funds are available for automatic payments.
Membership Changes and Renewals
Renewals:
Renewals for all Professional Memberships are generated on the 15th June annually and are payable by 1st July.
- Members on instalment plans must be opted in to automatic payments in order to continue your renewal with monthly instalments
- Members currently paying in one lump sum may choose to renew either as one lump sum or in 12 instalments (autopay required).
- Members paying by instalments who wish to switch to a lump sum must contact [email protected] prior to 10th June to arrange this change.
Unless you advise us otherwise, your membership will renew using your current payment method. You can review or change your payment preferences (e.g. to switch from lump sum to instalments) in the Member Portal prior to 10th June.

Cancellations:
- Mid Term:
- You can cancel your membership at any time with written notice to [email protected]
- Please note: no refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the membership term
- At renewal time:
- If you do not wish to renew your membership, please write to [email protected], PRIOR to 10th June of the current membership year
Change of Membership Type:
- You can check your eligibility to change Membership Type in your Member Portal under the ‘Change Type’ tab. Some changes may require approval by IOPO
